Abigail is from Harrogate in North Yorkshire and joined Northern Ballet in 2011. She trained at the Royal Ballet Lower School and Elmhurst School for Dance (Upper School).

Where were you born and raised?

Born in Harrogate. Raised in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

At what age did you start dancing?

I started dancing when I was six years old.

Where did you train?

Studio 3 Dance Workshop in Knaresborough, Royal Ballet Lower School and Elmhurst School for Dance.

What are your favourite Northern Ballet roles?

I have enjoyed many roles for so many different reasons. One of the roles I would really like to dance is Cathy in Wuthering Heights.

What do you like most about being a dancer?

Performing; especially when friends and family are in the audience.

How do you like to relax?

Spending time with my husband and seeing my family.
