Rehearsal Director

Born in Paris, Christelle received her ballet training at the Paris Opera Ballet School, the Besso Ballet Academy and the Académie Princesse Grace.

She began her professional career with the Ballet de l’Opéra de Nice, France, where she rose to the rank of principal dancer and performed all the major classical roles. In 2001, she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza in Spain under the direction of Nacho Duato.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with many of the world’s most renowned choreographers, including Nacho Duato, Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Jacopo Godani and Wim Vandekeybus, among others.

From 2010, Christelle held the positions of Associate Director and Teacher at the Municipal Dance School in Oleiros, Spain, and worked as Rehearsal Director at the Centro Coreográfico Galego, where she was involved in productions by Nacho Duato, Amaury Lebrun, Johan Inger and Kenneth Tindall.

Since January 2017, she has been Rehearsal Director at Northern Ballet, initially under the direction of David Nixon CBE and, since 2022, under the direction of Federico Bonelli. In this role, she has worked on all of the company’s productions and continues to collaborate closely with resident choreographer Kenneth Tindall and guest choreographer Cathy Marston.
