It’s never too late to learn to dance! Our adult classes are accompanied by live music and are offered from beginner to advanced level.
These classes are a great way to socialise, keep fit and improve posture and flexibility.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a professional dancer, we have a class tailored especially for you. These weekly classes will improve your fitness, technique, flexibility and posture.
Adult Ballet Beginner/ Improver Drop in
Our weekly drop in class is suitable for those with beginner experience to improver level experience in ballet. Our weekly class will build your foundation technique working on strength and coordination, whilst introducing new steps and vocab to improve overall technique. If you are completely new to ballet, we would advise you start with our Adult Ballet 1 Course.
Adult Ballet 1 Course
This 10 week course is designed for those with very little or no previous experience. The course will cover the basic ballet vocabulary and steps providing a foundation technique.
Adult Ballet 2 Course
This 10 week course is the next step up from our level 1 course. For dancers with some basic ballet knowledge, or for those who have completed the level 1 course. We will continue to build on extending your vocabulary and technique, broadening your understanding of classical ballet.

All courses will be held at our studios in Northern Ballet unless stated otherwise.

What to wear
Clothing should be loose and comfortable so that you can move easily. No denim please. Dancers should wear ballet shoes.
