The Academy of Northern Ballet is the North’s leading centre for classical ballet training, supporting over 1,000 young dancers each year - from free primary school workshops in areas of high deprivation to our new MA Classical Ballet Performance preparing dancers for professional careers.

As the only UK academy fully integrated within a professional ballet company, we offer a unique pathway into the industry. At our heart is a simple belief - no young person should be held back by financial circumstance.

Thanks to our supporters, we’re able to nurture exceptional talent, widen access to high-quality training, and provide financial support to talented young dancers in communities with little access to ballet.
